The ISPCA could not carry out our vital work without our dedicated team of volunteers.
Our volunteers are essential to the ISPCA’s work rescuing, rehabilitating and responsibly rehoming some of Ireland’s most cruelly neglected and abused animals. The love and care our volunteers give to the rescued animals that come into our centres go such a long way toward allowing those animals to eventually be adopted by new loving families.
The ISPCA is always looking for dedicated volunteers to help out at our National Animal Centre in Longford, our Equine Rescue Centre in Mallow, our Animal Rehabilitation Centre in Donegal, our ISPCA Wicklow Centre and as well as our affiliated member societies who carry out vital work in many counties across Ireland.
There are many benefits of becoming an ISPCA volunteer
- Be part of the fight to end animal cruelty
- New friends (furry ones, too!)
- Be the glue that makes the community a better place
- Become a real animal welfare champion
- Be proud, being part of making a real difference
The ISPCA has a number of volunteer roles available to work hands-on with the animals in our cattery, kennels and stables. We are also looking for groundskeeping and maintenance volunteers, and people to help out at various events, or to do some fundraising!
