Extra special Happy Tail this weekend!
Spider was brought in with an old mangled leg injury and his leg needed to be amputated. Despite only having 3 legs, he was a bouncy fellow and full of life and love for everyone. Everyone at the Centre had such a soft spot for him, too.
Spider has since been adopted and has gone the whole way to Belgium with his new mums, Vicky & Nina! He was collected at the vets to get a final health check before travelling, got to go on a train and a plane and has settled in nicely!
Here is how Spider is getting on with her new home:
“We both fell in love with Spider after seeing his picture on the ISPCA website, but didn’t think it would be possible to adopt him as we had recently relocated to Belgium! We applied anyway just in case and we were lucky enough to be a perfect match!
After meeting virtually, we made our way to Longford to adopt him. He had a long journey including trains, taxis and planes!
But he was the best travel companion and kept very calm, squeezing in a nap wherever possible.
Now he’s settling into his forever home, spoiled with toys and unlimited nap-spots. We are so grateful to get to know him and become his new mums.”
We would like to thank Vicky & Nina for sending us this lovely update on how Spider is getting on at his forever home.
