Rufus coming into his own at his Forever Home

Today’s Happy Tail is from Anna-Marie and Noel who adopted Rufus (previously called Chino) who was adopted in March 2023.

Here is how Rufus is getting on at his forever home:

“A year ago you gave us this gorgeous boy Rufus (formerly Chino). He is a real character and is so loving and such fun. There’s so much about Rufus, he is full of mischief and loves his cuddles.

He loves to play with a tennis ball and follows us around leaving it in front of us for us to kick. He was so scared when we got him first. We used to find him shaking in the bathroom.

He is now much more confident but still a bit scared of thunder and strong winds. He gets on great with our other dog Alfie and they love to play especially on our bed when we’re not looking. Everyone who meets him loves him and he has his favourite neighbours who he likes to greet.

He makes us all laugh and we are delighted to have him. He loves his comfort and he often sneaks into the spare room lying where the sun shines in. Thank you so much for letting us adopt him”

We would like to thank Anna-Marie, Noel and Alfie (Rufus’ best pup-pal) for sending us this lovely update on how Rufus is getting on!

Would you be ready to welcome a new furrever family member into your home? We also have lots of wonderful dogs and puppies, cats and kittens, horses, ponies and donkeys; and rabbits, ready to meet you. Please consider adopting and visit https://stg.ispca.ie/adoptions
