When Mittens (previously known as Casey) first came to us, she was found straying by one of our ISPCA Inspectors. Without shelter and too young to fend for herself, she was thin and
in poor health when she was brought to our rescue centre. With nutritious food and a safe place to recover, Mittens had soon become a friendly, playful cat.
Here is how Mittens is getting on with her new home:
“My son Eoghan & I visited the ISPCA Centre in Keenagh last September to find a kitten to complete our family. We fell in love with Casey straight away.
She was very friendly and we took a shine to her. Since bringing her home she has had the best time. We decided to change her name and settled on Mittens, because of her white paws!
She is a gentle pet who loves belly rubs and playtime. She brings comfort to my kids and she is very patient with my three-year-old.
She is mainly a house cat and has the run of the house. She is a great character to have in our home and we feel so lucky to have her. As my husband would say, she’s very spoilt.
Thank you to the ISPCA for all they do, we wouldn’t have our little lady without their amazing work”
We would like to thank Tess and her family for sending us this lovely update on how Mittens is getting on at her forever home.
