Today’s Happy Tail is from Patrick, who adopted three dogs over the years from the ISPCA, Kev, Dermot and Charlie.
Here is how the lads are getting on at their forever home:
“Kevin first, I adopted him from the National Animal Centre in April 2015, he’s a legend, quiet and a bit nervous but he’s a fantastic dog with so much love to give.
Dermot is next, I got Dermot in October 2022, after Stella died, also from the Animal Centre. Poor Stella had a tumour but she was a dream to have.
Dermot is a Lurcher cross and he’s just beautiful, very affectionate and calm. He loves his comforts!!
Finally, I spotted Charlie this summer. I hadn’t intended getting a third dog but I fell for Charlie. He’s a typical Jack Russell! Very affectionate, gives lots of licks but also has attitude. If he’s having a rest he doesn’t appreciate being disturbed.
Walking all three can be a challenge at times, especially if they spot a cat. They are also very keen on singing loudly in the car!
But they’re best friends and we wouldn’t have it any other way”
We would like to thank Patrick for sending us this lovely update on how Kev, Dermot and Charlie are getting on at their forever home.
