ISPCA thanks Minister for Agriculture, and his Department for the increase in funding for 2022

The ISPCA is Ireland’s national animal welfare charity which means, we are at the forefront of animal welfare with nine authorised officers covering 16 counties.

The ISPCA welcomes the increase in funding for 2022 and thanks to Minister Charlie McConalogue and his Department for their commitment to improving animal welfare.

With this funding, we can continue our vital work, caring for Ireland’s most cruelly treated, neglected and abused animals.

The ISPCA is Ireland’s national animal welfare charity which means that we are at the forefront of animal welfare with nine authorised officers, covering 16 counties. These ex-gratia grants will make a significant contribution to improved animal welfare and to the ISPCA’s work in 2022.


Benji was rescued after being found with numerous leg injuries. After careful rehabilitation in the ISPCA care, he has found the perfect forever home.
