ISPCA appeal for information on kitten found in engine in Tipperary

The kitten was found in good health

The ISPCA is appealing for any information regarding a ginger kitten who was found inside a car engine at Mother Hubbard’s Restaurant car park, Cashel Tipperary recently.

Animal Welfare Inspector Alice Lacey was attending another call and was too far away from the area at the time. The dog warden stayed to see if someone would return to the vehicle, however, no one did and thanks to Cashel Feral Cat Project who helped by coaxing the kitten out of the engine. Upon inspection, the kitten is estimated to be 6 weeks old and is extremely tame. Due to his tameness, we think he may belong to someone or to a tame mother cat who had kittens recently.

Inspector Lacy said: “Many thanks to the South Tipperary dog warden service and to the ladies of Cashel Feral Cat Project for getting this little kitten to safety.”
