Earlier this year, we rescued a horse with a large open wound that ran all the way down his back right leg. He was visibly trembling and in shock, so weak he could barely stand.
Our Vet administered pain relief as soon as he arrived at our specialist equine rescue centre in Mallow. He was treated intravenously with strong antibiotics and painkillers and his wound is cleaned and dressed every day. Cooper was also put on a special feeding programme to help him regain weight.
Our dedicated team brought him through rehab and their incredible work has meant that Cooper found a perfect new home. Thank you
