Chloe was two years old and pregnant with Harvey when she was rescued from a puppy farm with 33 other dogs. Many had large patches of bare, irritated skin and sores caused by an infestation of parasites. Chloe’s coat was matted and filthy and all the hair on her tail was gone. One of her eyes was also infected. The Vet ran a series of blood tests and found that she had a weakened immune system most likely caused by poor nutrition.
Chloe was put on a course of medication and a special diet. Her pup Harvey was safely delivered a few weeks later. A now healthy and happy Chloe spent a lovely summer rearing her adorable pup. Both will soon be ready to find their forever homes.
