About Lulu

Meet the pretty little Lulu. She’s a JRT and about 7 years old. Lulu, was hit by a car some months ago and had to be rushed to the emergency vet with spinal injuries. Initially it was thought Lulu may need surgery, but thankfully with crate rest, meds and plenty of tlc, Lulu has recovered and is really enjoying life now. However, as a result of her injuries, when Lulu gets excited or anxious she does a little pee, but that is improving and hopefully in time and as she settles in a home, this won’t be an issue. Because of this, she is best suited to an adult only home.
Lulu is such a lovely little dog, she is great with other dogs, enjoys her walks and loves her cuddles. She has been neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.
If you can offer this little dote a loving home, please complete a Dog Adoption application, link below.

A secure garden is a must and a home check applies.

Lulu is currently in the care of Laois SPCA

The Process

The adoption process at the ISPCA is designed to ensure the best possible match between animals and their prospective adopters.

Step One
Contact us

Contact the member society or animal centre and arrange to visit them. To save time you can complete an application form online, directly from the animal page.

Step Two
Get all the info

The member society or animal centre will give you information on adopting an animal, including the cost, and can help you fill out the right forms.

Step Three
Meet him/her

Following an assessment to match you with the right pet, you can meet the animals and reserve the animal you like.

Step Four
Show us around

A home visit will then be carried out to check your home is suitable for the pet you have chosen.

Step Five
Welcome your new best friend

When all the paperwork and checks are complete – you can take your new pet home! A follow up visit is usually carried out to make sure you and your new pet are happy!
